Comfort Standard Range, Comfort Long Range or Premium Long Range. Current UK batteries are 43 kWh or 54 kWh.
REAR / ALL-WHEEL DRIVE FAMILY
MG4 EV
Premium Long Range, Premium Extended Range or XPOWER. Current UK batteries are 64 kWh or 77 kWh.
The boundaries that matter
MG4 EV Urban
Comfort Standard Range: 43 kWh.
Comfort Long Range and Premium Long Range: 54 kWh.
Front-wheel-drive E3 platform.
Heat pump listed as standard.
Physical climate and media controls are a distinguishing cabin feature.
2026 MG4 EV
Premium Long Range: 64 kWh, rear-wheel drive.
Premium Extended Range: 77 kWh, rear-wheel drive.
XPOWER: 64 kWh, dual-motor all-wheel drive.
The current range and charging figures belong to the complete grade—not the MG4 badge alone.
Earlier MG4 SE and Trophy cars require their own model-year handbook and specification.
