This selector covers the grades listed in our current MG4 guide. An earlier SE or Trophy is not automatically a Premium grade. MG4 EV Urban has its own hub.

MAKE A GOOD START

Your handover.
Your checklist.

Eight useful checks for a new or used MG4 EV. Tick an item after you have completed it—not just opened the guide.

Choose your exact trim above to keep separate progress for that grade.

Checklist ticks stay in this browser, on your device. Clearing website data removes them; they do not sync to another phone or computer.

  1. Check the exact version in the vehicle paperwork. If your earlier SE or Trophy is not in the selector, leave the trim unselected and use your original handbook.

  3. Ask for a demonstration of the supplied access devices and the correct account-transfer process for a used car.

  4. Check the app and phone requirements for the exact car. Keep passwords, QR codes and security PINs private.

  6. Locate the vehicle pressure label and wheel/tyre specification. Use those references, not a figure copied from another grade.

EXTENDED RANGE

Up to 338 miles

MG’s current UK page associates its maximum combined WLTP figure with the 77 kWh battery.

LONG RANGE CHARGING

10–80% in 25 minutes

MG states this for the 64 kWh Premium Long Range on a suitable 150 kW charger under standardised conditions.

LUGGAGE

388 litres

Boot capacity with the rear seats raised; 1,164 litres with them folded.

Trim matters: do not apply the 338-mile figure or 25-minute charging claim to every MG4 EV. They relate to different named UK variants.
